Information we collect
When you request a free analysis or contact us, we may collect the website address, name, email address, message, scan results, and time of the request. The automated analysis reviews publicly available pages and technical signals from the website you submit.
Website Care clients may also have an account containing a business name, contact name, email, website, subscription status, billing-period dates, support requests, and the number of included changes used. Review invitations collect the name, role, rating, written feedback, and the client’s choice about public permission.
How we use information
We use this information to provide requested scans, reply to inquiries, deliver project and account emails, manage Website Care requests, improve the service, prevent abuse, and keep necessary business records. We do not sell personal information or add scan and contact-form users to an unrelated mailing list.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. CtrlAltRedesign does not receive or store full card numbers, card security codes, or bank-login credentials. Stripe may collect information under its own privacy policy to process payments, prevent fraud, issue receipts, and provide its secure billing portal.
Service providers
We use service providers only where needed to operate the service, including Cloudflare for hosting, security, databases, and automated analysis; Resend for transactional email; Stripe for payments and subscriptions; and Google services when checking public website performance or measuring search visibility. These providers process information under their own terms and security practices.
Analytics and cookies
CtrlAltRedesign may record limited, first-party events such as a pricing-page visit, a scan start, a report unlock, or a completed contact form. These events are used to understand whether the site is helpful. This measurement is designed not to store the visitor’s email, full IP address, or advertising profile. The client portal uses browser storage to keep a temporary sign-in session on that device.
Retention and security
Temporary scan previews expire automatically. Contact, client, review, billing-status, and support records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the business. Administrative access is restricted, sensitive credentials are encrypted as platform secrets, and card data stays with Stripe. No online system can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information we control, subject to records we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons. A review remains private unless the reviewer expressly allows publication, and public permission can be withdrawn by contacting us.
Children and changes
This business service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above will show the latest revision.
