Service terms.
The practical rules for projects, Website Care, billing, cancellations, and working together.
Effective: August 18, 2026
These terms apply to CtrlAltRedesign services unless a signed proposal says something different. A project proposal may add scope, dates, or payment details for that specific job.
Free reviews and analysis
Free scans and reviews are informational. They inspect public website signals and may be incomplete or temporarily affected by third-party data. They are not legal, security, accessibility-certification, accounting, or guaranteed SEO advice.
$999 core website rebuild
The advertised core rebuild includes up to five agreed pages, mobile-first implementation using the client’s existing brand, one contact or quote form, transfer of approved text and supplied images, one menu or service-list page, search foundations, basic performance and accessibility cleanup, two revision rounds, and launch on the client’s existing domain.
The standard schedule is $500 after the scope is approved and before work begins, then $499 after final approval and before launch. Added pages, e-commerce, booking systems, memberships, custom applications, large imports, original branding or photography, copywriting from scratch, multilingual work, advertising, and ongoing SEO are quoted separately before work begins.
$50 monthly Website Care
Website Care includes up to five focused content changes per billing month, a monthly uptime/SSL/broken-link/contact-form health check, and access to the client request portal. A focused change means one edit in one area, such as one hours update, price or menu-item change, paragraph replacement, button or link change, supplied photo swap, or supplied-file replacement.
Unused changes expire at the end of the billing month and do not roll over. Problem reports and questions do not automatically use a change; Blandon reviews the request first. New pages, redesigns, integrations, custom features, emergency after-hours work, and work outside the maintained website require a separate quote.
Requests and timing
Clients must provide accurate instructions, final approved wording, and properly licensed files. Most ordinary care requests have a three-business-day target, but this is a service target rather than a guaranteed deadline. Timing may change for unclear, unusually large, high-risk, or dependency-blocked requests.
Billing and cancellation
Stripe securely processes payments and stores payment methods. Recurring Website Care charges each billing period until canceled. Clients may cancel through Stripe’s billing portal or by contacting CtrlAltRedesign before the next billing date. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; fees already earned or a billing period already started are not automatically refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.
Client ownership and permissions
The client keeps ownership of its domain, business content, trademarks, and supplied assets. The client confirms it has permission to use everything it supplies. After final payment, the client receives the finished custom website work described in the proposal, excluding third-party software, fonts, stock assets, platform services, and reusable tools that remain subject to their own licenses.
Results and third parties
CtrlAltRedesign will perform the agreed work professionally, but does not guarantee a search ranking, traffic level, lead count, revenue amount, uninterrupted third-party service, or approval by Google or another platform. Business results also depend on the offer, market, reputation, pricing, operations, and factors outside the website.
Acceptable use and suspension
Services may not be used for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or harmful activity. Work or portal access may be paused for nonpayment, a security risk, abusive conduct, or requests outside the agreed scope while the issue is resolved.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, CtrlAltRedesign is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Any direct liability relating to a service is limited to the amount paid for that service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.
Contact and updates
Questions may be sent to help@ctrlaltredesign.com. Terms may be updated as services change, with the effective date above showing the current version. California law governs these terms unless applicable law requires otherwise.
